Vet visit
The puppies went to the vet yesterday for their first vaccine and microchipping. Everyone passed their exams with flying colors. No heart murmurs, hernias and eyes, ears, etc looked great :) Fecal exam was negative.
Tech preparing the vaccines and microchips ... puppies think she has treats ... which she also does :)
Having fun in the room!
Mr. Red having his heartbeat checked.
Briggs seeing if there are any more treats on the table.
Mr. Blue gets a listen.
Mr. Black getting weighed.
Miss Orange showing off her pretty eyes to Dr. Bennett.
Miss Purple went in for her close up.

Learning about a leash
I apologize in advance ... I didn't get any pictures or videos :( I was alone and had 2 puppies out at a time so I had no available hands.
Today I took the puppies out, 2 at a time, and had them on a leash. One in each hand. Everyone took turns in pairs going on a little mini, mini walk in our neighborhood. I had quite a few neighbors come out and greet the puppies ... they are fan favorites! (I had pocket hand sanitizer, in case you were wondering, hehe). The puppies were apprehensive at first but all warmed up quickly and were bounding along the sidewalk in no time in cute puppy style. There were periods of resistance, which is quite normal, but I was quite impressed by them. All of them seem to be outgoing little guys. Just try to keep up the 3 new places, 3 new people each week. It will help them maintain their confidence and composure in new situations. Don't take them to dog parks or daycare until they are done with their immunizations and pet stores are ok before they are done, just carry them in.
As the weather gets nicer, you can take them to outdoor shopping areas, sit outside of a Starbucks, head to the garden section of Lowes or Home Depot ... get creative :)
And time for cute picture of the day:
We want to eat now, even Uncle Dexter says so :) I placed the bag on the floor and everyone was instantly at it. They know where the good stuff is! I am sure they would have had the bag open in less than a minute if I had given them the chance!

Naughty dogs
This is a common occurrence after I change out the newspapers in their potty area ...
You can hear the big dogs playing in the background. It was crazy dog hour in my house! I had just taken the puppies outside a little earlier and it started to rain, sigh. No play time in the nice temperature today.
