Now puppies have usable vision and hearing. This upcoming week will start their awareness period. I will begin introducing a variety of noises ... music, doorbell, vacuum ... and changes in light levels, moving objects ... Also, sudden loud noises will help with the startle response and their fear has not yet developed so it will be beneficial for recovery from things in their life that are unplanned for. There will be alot more play fighting and dog behavior from the puppies. I have also begun weaning. Most are taking to it pretty well. They all investigate the bowl and try it but some are more eager to lap it up than others. Orange and red and green all like to come in and then run away. In time. Rylee is still supplementing them, it just takes some work getting her into the box and laying still. Those teeth are getting sharp!
